Hey all, it's rolling around tumblr, but figured I'd throw it out here as well. This Sunday to celebrate Richard Speight Jr's appearance and because of the high amount of Gabriel requests I received as a result will be dedicated to our favorite trickster Gabriel. Since JFig is up in the area now, I've made an executive decision to change art request nights to Sundays rather than Saturdays. This will free us up to go out and enjoy the Portland nightlife on Saturdays too instead of just Friday night. That being said, if you have no idea what i'm talking about read on. Over on tumblr the art request nights are simple. You go to my page, send me a message of something and I draw it. It helps me practice in much better ways then the stuff I come up with on my own because it takes me out of my comfort zone. You can send request anonymously, or from your tumblr, or you can tweet requests as well to @ NOTLF

The apartment is filled with boxes, and the walls are covered with framed movie posters as they should be. After a couple months it's weird to see actual things in the apartment when before then the 2 bedroom place consisted of an air mattress, folding table and my computer. It's a nice weird though ;) I've been doing art requests every Saturday, and trying to draw throughout the week and I think it's helped out quite a bit to keep me out of my comfort zone. The result I'm hoping for is to be able to draw human characters, but that takes time ^_^ Some cool stuff has come of it the past few weeks so i've recently put together a society6 shop

The past year I haven't had much room in my lodgings for my bed let alone a scanner, but now, in my new home in Vancouver i have room to stretch my arms out and turn without hitting something so I finally got a printer/scanner back in my life. The result... Is going through a year of doodles, fan art and graphic designs and scanning them to finally come up with a finished product. Last night alone, I live-streamed for 5 hours scanning and coloring and I can't see that not happening again for the foreseeable future. I end up with alot of "Art request Saturday" doodles of Supernatural over on tumblr, which are getting more and more fun to do,
